Getting Tea Stains Out
Tea stains can be one of the hardest to get rid of without the right technique and tools. Here are a few ways to tackle your stains with things you have at home.
What You Need
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Cream of tartar
- Salt
- Lemon juice
Methods for Removing Tea Stains
- White Vinegar: Pour some vinegar directly on the stain and gently scrub with a soft brush or cloth. Rinse with cool water and repeat as needed.
- Baking Soda and Cream of Tartar Paste: Mix the baking soda and cream of tartar together in a bowl to form a paste. Rub the paste onto the stain and leave for 15 minutes. Wipe off with a damp cloth and rinse with cool water.
- Salt Paste: Add a few drops of water to some salt to form a paste then rub into the stained area. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes then rinse with cool water.
- Lemon Juice: Make a lemon juice and salt paste and rub it into the stain. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes before rinsing with cool water.
These methods should help to get rid of tea stains quickly and effectively. If the stain is stubborn, you may need to repeat the process a few times to fully remove it.
