How to Make Matcha Tea From Powder

Gather the Necessary Supplies
- 2 scoops of Matcha powder.
- Bamboo whisk (Chasen).
- Chawan (Tea Bowl).
- Chasaku (Bamboo Spoon).
- 120 ml of Water.
Prepare the Matcha Powder
- Measure 2 scoops of matcha powder into the chawan using the chasaku.
- Empty the chasaku and spread the powder evenly over the surface.
Boil the Water and Pour it in the Bowl
- Boil 120ml of water in a pot.
- Use chasaku to pour the boiling water into chawan.
- Wait for the water to cool down to about 80°C.
Whisk the Matcha Powder and Water Together
- Using a bamboo whisk, whisk the matcha powder with the hot water until foamy and the powder is fully dissolved.
