How to Make Tea Eggs
- 5 Eggs
- Tea Bag
- 3 tablespoons of Soy Sauce
- 1 Star Anise (optional)
- 3 tablespoons of White or Brown Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of Salt
- 2 cups of Water
- Boil the eggs for 8 minutes.
- Take the eggs out and rinse with cold water.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the pot and bring it to a boil.
- Once boiled, take the pot off the heat and add the eggs.
- Let the eggs sit in the tea mixture for at least two hours, preferably overnight.
- Enjoy your Tea Eggs!
