Caffeine in Coke
Soda also contains caffeine and generally has higher levels than tea. A 12-ounce (355-mL) can of Coke contains 34 mg of caffeine, but other types of sodas can contain much more. For instance, the same size can of Surge contains over 60 mg.
Most types of tea contain slightly lower levels of caffeine than soda. But as seen above, the caffeine amount can vary for different types of tea and soda, so it’s best to check the label for exact caffeine content.
